Mission Rescue Holiday Club 2011

21 Aug 2011

Belfast Citadel Hall was transformed into Spy HQ for the Mission Rescue Holiday Club recently with a disguise corner, code breaking area and ‘high tech’ centre. The young people who attended learnt of God’s rescue plan for the Israelites through Moses and how Jesus can rescue us today. Each day consisted of games, DVD presentation, Bible teaching and craft activities. The ‘tuck shop’ was popular along with the refreshments served at the Mad Lab. Most popular however, was the chance to don an outrageous disguise!

The final Sunday following the week’s club was a graduation of ‘spies’ and it was exciting to see nearly all the young people attend the Sunday morning meeting together with family members. The service showed everyone just what had taken place in the week and culminated with all who attended ‘Mission Rescue’ receiving a graduation certificate and taking home their craft activities. Major James Cunningham
