Rae Woodward Soldier

24 Apr 2011

Belfast Citadel Easter Sunday 24 April 2011

Rae entered a Salvation Army hall for the first time in September 2008. She had just returned to her native Belfast after spending over 30 years in England and was looking for a place to worship. Rae felt very much at home in the corps and became an adherent in August 2009. On accepting Jesus as her Saviour, Rae made the decision to become a soldier, an outcome that she had never dreamt of when she first stepped into Belfast Citadel. On Easter Sunday following her enrolment by Captain Lorraine Kinnear, Rae testified – “I am now standing where the Lord has planned for me to be.”
