New Soldiers at Belfast Citadel

23 Feb 2014

Although Ronald and Lilian Vellem had lived in Belfast for about 10 years, it was only when Lilianís mother was visiting from her home in Zimbabwe in December 2012 that they decided to join her when she went to worship at Belfast Citadel. Lilian had been brought up in a Salvation Army family and Ronald was born in a Salvation Army hospital. Both Ronald and Lilian became regular attenders and expressed the desire to become soldiers. In her testimony, Lilian said how they now really felt at home at Belfast Citadel. Following the enrolment, Lilian celebrated by presenting a timbrel item along with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law who were present at the meeting.
